The WatchGas QGM is a compact, rugged multi-gas detector engineered to keep personnel safe in hazardous environments. Available in 1–4 gas configurations, it simultaneously monitors oxygen (O₂), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon monoxide (CO), and combustible gases via LEL sensors. With intuitive one-button operation and advanced safety alerts, it ensures reliable, real-time gas detection wherever it’s needed.
Key Features
- IECEx & ATEX Zone 0 certified — suitable for use in highly explosive atmosphere
- One-button operation & rugged grip housing — simplifies field handling
- Simultaneous detection of up to four gases — O₂, CO, H₂S, and LEL (with catalytic or optional NDIR)
- Optional NDIR LEL sensor for low energy consumption — extends battery life up to 2 months and functions even with fluctuating oxygen levels; offers better resistance to silicone and sulfur poisoning
- Multi-modal alarms — optical (LED), acoustic (95 dB), and vibration alerts for high, low, TWA, STEL, over-range, low battery, bump test or calibration due
- LCD display with real-time readings — shows exact gas concentrations, TWA/STEL metrics
- Data logging — stores up to two months of data, including peak/average values, calibration dates, and bump test history; downloadable via WatchGas IR-link
- Docking station support — available for fast bump testing and calibration in the field
- Rechargeable lithium-ion battery — rechargeable in under 6 hours, with up to 2 months of runtime (IR configuration)
- Compact and durable — measures approximately 60 × 40 × 118 mm, weighs ~240 g including clip, IP67-rated housing
- Fast response times — T₉₀ < 15 s for O₂ and LEL, < 30 s for CO and H₂S
Applications
- Routine monitoring in petrochemical plants, factories, and processing facilities
- Hazard-response readiness in tank storage parks, wastewater plants, and mining operations
- On-site detection for construction, first responders, and food & beverage industries
- Environments with explosive risk where ATEX/IECEx certification is crucial
- Operations requiring accurate detection of oxygen deficiency, toxic gases (CO/H₂S), and combustible hazards
